This deletes your ReconcileIQ account, including IQ Books, CodeIQ, LedgerIQ and Bank Reconciler. You can also do it in the IQ Books app: More, then Delete account.
What happens
Erased straight away: your sign-in, name, email address, connected services (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and others), push devices, login and activity history, and RiQ conversations. You won't be able to sign in again.
Books you run on your own: archived and locked so that nobody can open them. UK law requires a business to keep its accounting records for six years, so they are held for six years from today and then erased.
Books you share with other people: you are removed, and the books stay with them. If you are the only owner of shared books, make someone else an owner first (Team, in the app or on the web).
Billing: any subscription is cancelled first. Payment records are kept, as the law requires.
Want a copy of your books first? Export them from IQ Books on the web (Reports) before you delete. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
